About this role
Zof AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build advanced AI products and infrastructure. This role is for a highly capable engineer who can operate across the stack, work through ambiguity, make strong technical decisions, and build production-quality systems with speed and discipline. The ideal candidate is AI-native, deeply technical, and comfortable using modern AI tools to increase engineering velocity without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production-quality AI product features.
- Work across frontend, backend, data, infrastructure, and AI tooling as needed.
- Make strong architectural decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Use AI development tools to increase velocity while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with product and leadership to translate product direction into working systems.
- Mentor junior engineers through code review, technical guidance, and example-setting.
- Improve engineering standards, reliability, and delivery discipline.
- Own important systems from concept through production.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering foundation.
- Experience building production systems.
- Strong AI tooling capability.
- Ability to work across the stack.
- Strong judgment and ownership.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
- Evidence of building high-quality technical work.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI agents, LLMs, test automation, developer tools, quality systems, or infrastructure.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, Prisma, Postgres, or similar technologies.
- Experience leading technical projects.
- Strong product intuition.
