Compensation

$120k-$160k base, $170k-$210k OTE / year

Plus meaningful equity · Base plus commission

About this role

Zof AI is seeking a Sales Engineer who can bridge product, engineering, and customer conversations. This role requires strong communication skills, technical curiosity, product intuition, and the ability to help customers understand how AI systems create business value. The ideal candidate can support demos, explain complex ideas clearly, gather customer requirements, and translate market feedback into product insight.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical product demos.
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into product insight.
  • Explain technical AI concepts clearly to customers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams.
  • Help prepare demos, technical collateral, and customer-facing materials.
  • Capture objections, requirements, and market feedback.
  • Support sales conversations with technical credibility.
  • Help shape how Zof AI communicates product value.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Technical curiosity and ability to understand AI products.
  • Comfort speaking with customers.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong organization and follow-through.
  • High ownership.
  • Willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS, AI, developer tools, QA, enterprise software, or technical sales.
  • Experience running demos.
  • Experience with customer discovery.
  • Technical background or ability to read technical documentation.
  • Strong writing ability.
