The Reliability Thesis

When software becomes abundant, confidence becomes the constraint.

When software becomes abundant, confidence becomes the constraint. A point of view on software reliability in the age of autonomous systems, examining verification, authority, system context, and retained evidence.

• Generation becomes abundant. Verification becomes scarce.
• Every change is a claim. Evidence determines whether it deserves authority.
• The unit of reliability is the system, not the file, model, or agent.
