Social Media Marketing Manager

About this role
Zof AI is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to rebuild and run our public accounts for an audience of working engineers. This role owns those accounts end to end: the posting cadence, the explainers and short video we publish, replies in developer threads, and holding a post until its claim is backed. If you have worked as a Social Media Manager, Social Media Specialist, or Digital Marketing Specialist, this is that discipline at Zof AI. The ideal candidate uses AI daily to draft and research, catches what the model gets wrong, and would rather stay quiet than post something an engineer has to correct.
Responsibilities
- Own the publishing calendar for our LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram accounts.
- Write posts that explain continuous verification without overstating what the product does.
- Work with product and engineering to turn technical articles and the Point of Failure series into posts developers read.
- Produce your own graphics, screen recordings, and short video.
- Engage with developers in public threads on their own technical terms.
- Use AI tools to research, draft, and test variants, then verify every claim before it publishes.
- Track reach, engagement, and referral traffic, and report results clearly.
- Extend our content standards into a social playbook a technical brand can stand behind.
Requirements
- Experience running social accounts for a brand or product.
- Evidence of a consistent publishing cadence over time.
- Strong short-form writing in a plain, direct voice.
- Comfort explaining a technical product to a developer audience.
- Working understanding of where AI coding tools fail.
- Hands-on production skill with simple graphics and short video.
- Self-direction in a fast-moving environment.
- Daily hands-on use of AI tools to draft, iterate, and fact-check content.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing AI, developer tools, or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with social scheduling, video editing, or similar production tooling.
- Experience at an early-stage startup.
- An existing presence in a developer or AI community.
