Sales Engineer

Compensation
GHS 5,500-11,000 / month

About this role
Zof is seeking a Sales Engineer to win deals with working software. This role builds the custom demos and proof-of-concepts that prove value before a contract is signed, carries technical credibility through the sales cycle, and uses AI agents to run a leveraged go-to-market motion: research, enrichment, and follow-up handled by automation so humans spend their time where it counts. If you have worked as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or in technical pre-sales, this is that discipline at Zof. The ideal candidate builds fast, communicates clearly, and enjoys being the technical proof in the room.
Responsibilities
- Build custom demos and proof-of-concepts that win deals before contract.
- Own the technical side of the sales cycle from discovery to close.
- Automate the GTM motion with agents: research, enrichment, and follow-up.
- Explain technical AI concepts clearly to buyers and stakeholders.
- Prepare demos, technical collateral, and customer-facing materials.
- Capture objections, requirements, and market feedback for product.
- Hand off won deals cleanly to solutions and deployment teams.
- Help shape how Zof proves product value.
Requirements
- Ability to build working software and demos quickly.
- Strong communication skills and comfort in front of buyers.
- Fluency with AI tools and modern GTM tooling.
- Technical curiosity and ability to understand AI products deeply.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- High ownership.
- Willingness to learn quickly.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
- Prior sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales experience.
- Experience automating GTM workflows with agents or CRM tooling.
- Experience with TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience in SaaS, AI, developer tools, or enterprise software.
